Corporate Governance

The management supervision and executive functions of PSS are clearly separated in order to define responsibility and authority better. This strengthens PSS's management, speeds up decision-making and fosters a sense of
self-reliance.

Balanced Scorecard

Our Decision To You

The Balanced Scorecard is PSS's method of measuring its performance across a range of key indicators. The scorecard measures performance beyond the traditional financial indicators of profitability, asset growth, and efficiency.

The scorecard measures performance across eight key areas, which are profitability, soundness, growth, efficiency, staff commitment, member engagement, governance process, and corporate citizenship.

Profitability

The key performance indicator of profitability is the net profit after tax measured against average total assets under management.

Soundness

The key performance indicator of financial soundness is our capital adequacy ratio. The capital adequacy ratio is a measure of our capital weighed against our risk.

Growth

The key performance indicator of growth is the increase in total assets under management. Assets under management are all the financial assets under the management of the holding company, including stocks, bonds, mortgage loans, real estate, investments, policy loans, and cash.

Efficiency

The key performance indicator of efficiency is our cost to income ratio.

Staff Commitment

The key performance indicator of staff commitment is our staff satisfaction survey.

Member Engagement

The key performance indicator of member engagement is our annual member satisfaction survey.

Governance Process

The key performance indicator of governance process is the independent comparison of our processes against corporate governance best practice.
